![]() This is the most powerful and fastest PowerDVD Ultra program that has every been made. I noticed a lot faster loading and navigation performance, and BD-LIVE was super fast. After installing PowerDVD 19 Ultra the desktop icon was automatically labeled as “CyberLink PowerDVD 19 (64-bit)” to inform me that PowerDVD 19 Ultra is taking full advantage of the 64 bit Windows operating system. All prior versions of PowerDVD only had a 32 bit software code which resulted in slower loading and operational performances. The two major differences between PowerDVD 19 Ultra and PowerDVD 18 Ultra is native 8K Ultra HD video support and native 64 bit CPU support for all video and audio playback. Standalone Blu-ray players are always called Blu-ray players and sometimes called Blu-ray/DVD players on the retail box. Cyberlink still calls this software PowerDVD, instead of using a name like Power Blu-ray (Corel for some reason does the same thing with its Blu-ray software by calling it WinDVD Pro instead of Win Blu-ray). Installation of Cyberlink PowerDVD 19 Ultra was very easy. Inside the retail box is a CD-ROM and installation guide for easy installation on a Windows PC (PDF User Guide is downloaded from Cyberlink website). Cyberlink PowerDVD 19 Ultra 64-bit retail box with CD-ROM (brief user review)įor $99.99 plus free shipping I received the full retail box version of Cyberlink PowerDVD 19 Ultra 64bit. ![]()
